Letterhead Design
I tried a few different variations of the letterhead and this is my preferred version. The original design used the same layout as the resume, but it felt like it overpowered the actual letter and reduced the written space too much. A horizontal masthead concept was explored as well for both the letterhead and the resume to keep consistency. However, the horizontal bar, even with the logo and name reduce, became difficult to keep the same level of detail my resume currently has. This version uses the same sidebar element as the resume and my branding, but modifies it to allow for plenty of content space for the letter.
I am confident with my design background that printing on this letterhead will not be an issue. Additionally, my experience with Indesign (also used for these designs) means this exact design layout can be used as the template for letterhead printing.
Current Resume and Shot Sheet
Thank You Card
Size is 5.5 x 4 based on the vista print website requirements, but is vector so it can be scaled to any size needed. Only designing the front of the card so there is flexibility in the design’s use and leaves plenty of space in a folded or single sided card for hand written notes.

Job Research and Budget
I have been working here and there on my job research and have started my budget sheet. At this moment the budget has been trying to identify my current spending needs and some projections for student loan repayments. There is a second sheet in the budget that deals with some cost of living analysis. This is a copy of some research I had conducted a year ago, I will be updating soon to reflect the most current data I can find and to better reflect the cities in my job search information.
Website Updates
I have built out and started to build out the back log for an masters process blog. I am in the process of catching up on the updates as I had not maintained a blog before this point.
Current Demo Reel
I will be adding a new WIP of the master’s project soon. Unfortunately, I did not get as far as I wanted on a new version this weekend.
The “Fire and Ice” video has been added and the skid smoke clip taken out. I plan on re-rendering the “Fire and Ice” video once I have the foot intersection fixed.
The audio has been adjusted, though it looks like the normalization process is an effect in Media Encoder, not After Effects. Hopefully the audio works better, with my headphones at home it has always sounded loud.
This version of the demo reel has not been updated on the homepage yet. I will get to that as soon as possible.
